Terms and Conditions for the installation service

Scope of Services:
- Glassifieds offers window and door installation services, which include the installation of new windows and doors as per the agreed-upon specifications with the client.
- Removal of existing windows and doors is not included in the service and should be arranged by the client before the scheduled installation date.

Pre-Installation Requirements:
- The client must ensure that a reliable power supply is available at the site, not more than 20 meters from the installation point, to facilitate the installation process.
- The client is responsible for completing all necessary plastering and painting work in the installation area before the scheduled installation date.
- The client is responsible for securing the facility management permit or authorities permit for the installation work and the permit to enter the installation area

Material Offloading and Shifting:
- Glassifieds will offload the materials required for installation, provided that the offloading area is located not more than 50 meters away from the installation place.
- The client must ensure that a clear passage is available to shift materials, and it should be sufficient to accommodate the size of the materials.
- If materials need to be shifted vertically, the client must provide a suitable lift or arrangement to facilitate the vertical shifting of materials.

Sealant Specifications:
- The sealant provided in our offer is intended for sealing joints of a maximum width of 30mm (about 1.18 in) between the installed windows/doors and the surrounding framework
- The sealant used will be of standard black color, as specified by Dow, Termco, or Wurth, unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract.

Pre-Installation Inspection:
- Our installation team will conduct a pre-installation inspection to verify that the perimeter and surrounding structures are in good and solid condition for installing the windows and doors.
- If any issues are identified during the inspection that may affect the installation process, the client will be notified, and any necessary modifications or additional work may incur extra charges.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:
- The client may reschedule the installation appointment by providing at least 5 days’ notice. Failure to do so may result in a rescheduling fee.
- In the event of a cancellation by Glassifieds due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will be offered an alternative installation date.

Warranty:
- Glassifieds provides a limited warranty on the installation services, covering any defects in workmanship for a period of 10 years from the installation date.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, natural disasters, or any modifications made to the installed windows and doors.
- Hinges, handles, sliding wheels and all operational hardware is covered for one year warranty

Indemnity:
- The client agrees to indemnify and hold Glassifieds, its employees, and subcontractors harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from the installation process or any related services.

Insurance:
- Glassifieds carries liability insurance to cover any damage or injuries that may occur during the installation process. However, the client is responsible for securing their own insurance for their property and possessions.

Limitation of Liability:
- In no event shall Glassifieds be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the installation services.

Governing Law:
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of [United Arab Emirates/Dubai].

By availing the window and door installation services of Glassifieds, the client agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
